Jim Corbett National Park, the first wildlife reserve of India, extending over an area of more than 500 sq km in the Himalayan foothills. Corbett national park was established in 1936.

The Jim Corbett National Park is a heaven for the adventure seekers and wildlife adventure lovers alike. Corbett National Park is India's first national park which comprises 520.8 km2. area of hills, riverine belts, marshy depressions, grass lands and large lake. The elevation ranges from 1,300 feet (400 m) to 4,000 feet (1,200 m). Corbett National park is known for its varied wildlife, and as the site for the launching of Project Tiger. Corbett National Park was one of the nine tiger reserves created at the launch of the Project Tiger in 1973. The original area of the Corbett National Park was 323.75 sq. km. to which 197.07 sq. km. was added later. In 1991, an area of 797.72 sq km was added as buffer area of the Corbett Tiger Reserve. It area includes kalagarh forest division and Ramnagar forest division.

Jungle Safari/Jeep Safari
Wildlife safaris in Corbett National Park take you deep inside the forest and enable you to see wild animal closely in their natural habitat, It is the best and only way to explore the national park, wildlife safaris in Corbett can be done in different zones of the national park by authorize gypsys ,elephant and cater. As you cannot take your private vehicles inside the park.Popular zones where you can do wildlife safaris in Corbett national park are Jirna,Bijrani , Durga Devi and Dhikala Zone after making entries at the respective gates.

Although day safaris to Dhikala Zone can be done on canter ( safari bus) operated by the park authorities. However, the capacity for this facility is limited.

Specific trails for vehicles are maintained to enable visitors to watch wildlife at Corbett. Driving off track it is not allowed for reasons of safety. It is to be noted that driving after sunset is strictly prohibited. 

As no one is permitted to take their personal vehicles inside the forest area of Corbett national park, one need to take park authorize gypsy's to enter into the national park for jeep safaris, one need to take permit from Park's Ramnagar office for jeep safaris and can enter into the forest Area from their respective gate after showing permits to the park officials at these gates. Jeep safari in Corbett is an ideal way to explore wildlife as these A 4x4 Jeep's can take you to the tough terrain of forest that make them suitable for wildlife safaris. There are specific trails maintained for jeep safaris in Corbett enabling visitors to watch wildlife at national park, safaris are not allowed off the track for safety reason and jeep safaris are strictly prohibited after sunset in the park.

Timings for Safari: morning 6:00 am and evening 2:30 pm (3 to 4 hrs safari ride).

02 Nights/03 Days Tour

Day-1: Friday Night - New Delhi - Corbett National Park (Ram nagar) (235km):
Depart from Delhi- NCR By / Bus / Train/ Car at Friday night – Reach Corbett National park at morning- transfer to Hotel / Resort.

Day-2: Saturday - Garjiya Temple Visit and Jungle Safari:
After breakfast you can visit gajiya temple and Corbett museum, back to hotel for lunch in afternoon. Get ready for jungle safari to enjoy wild life and tiger hunt (3 to 4 hrs), back to hotel enjoy evening tea with snacks and evening dinner with bonfire and music.

Day-3: Sunday- Corbett Waterfall & Drive back to Delhi (235kms):
After breakfast visit Corbett waterfall, back to hotel, pack your bag and drive back to delhi or your desire destination.

Note: Special arrangement can be made as theme party of corporate conference and some other adventure activities.
