Jim Corbett National Park is appropriately called the heaven of majestic tigers for the fact that it shelters a large population of tigers in its breathtaking landscapes that consists of exotic flora and fauna. Its foundation was led by the legendary hunter turned conservationist Sir Edward Jim Corbett (1875-1955). The first national park of India was established in 1936 to protect the family of Royal Bengal Tiger. Popularly called as tiger as Tiger Capital of India and hence visited by several wildlife enthusiasts every year who wish to catch the glorious sight of Indian Tigers. The forest of Jim Corbett National Park is dotted with Sal, Peepal and mango trees. More than 73 percent area of the park is covered with the forests of these forests. The entire area of the park feeds more than 600 species of birds, 110 kinds of trees, 50 species of mammals and 25 different species of reptiles. the wildlife tourism and maximize the wildlife sightings the area of the Jim Corbett National Park has been divided into five distinct tourism zones. Bijrani, Jhirna, Durgadevi, Dhela and Dhikala are the designated safari zones and fall under the Corbett Tiger Reserve area. 4x4 Jeep vehicle is the most feasible option to explore the wilderness of the park. Day-1:Friday-New Delhi-Corbett National Park (Ram Nagar 235 kms) Overnight Journey:

Travel by surface from Delhi to Corbett National Park

Day-2: Saturday- Garjiya Temple Visit and Jungle Safari:

Morning arrival at Corbett National Park and check in to Hotel/Resort and after Breakfast visit Gajiya temple and Corbett museum, back to hotel for lunch and get ready for jungle safari-to enjoy wild life and tiger hunt (3 to 4 hrs), back to hotel in evening for some leisure time enjoy snacks at hotel and get ready for dinner time followed by bonfire and music.

Day-3: Sunday-Corbett Waterfall & Drive back to Delhi- (235kms):

After breakfast and check out from Hotel , visit Corbett waterfall, and drive back to Delhi or your desire destination.

How to Reach Jim Corbett:

The small town of Ramnagar forms the headquarters of Corbett Tiger Reserve. Ramnagar is well connected by rail or road to Delhi, Moradabad, Bareilly and Nainital. Uttarakhand State transport buses ply at a short interval of time from Delhi, Moradabad, Haldwani to Ramnagar.
Jim Corbett National Park By Air: Jim Corbett National Park doesn't have an airport. Phoolbagh and pantnagar is the nearest airport which is approx 78 kilometers away from the national park. Flights from Delhi and Lucknow fly to Pantnagar twice in a week. So, tourists can arrange accordingly. Taxis are easily available from Pantnagar to Jim Corbett. Delhi which is 260 km away has the domestic as well as international airport for the people travelling from abroad.
Corbett Park By Road: Jim Corbett National Park is well connected by road network to major cities of India. The drive from Delhi to Jim Corbett takes five and half hours. The National Park is located at 15 Kms from Ramnagar town and 433 Kms from Lucknow via Bareilly. Route: Delhi - Hapur - Gajraula - Moradabad - Kashipur - Ramnagar - Corbett.
Jim Corbett By Rail: Ramnagar (15 Kms) is the nearest railway station to Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve. It is well connected to major stations of India including New Delhi. Ranikhet Express is one of the trains that operate daily from Delhi railway station to Kathgodam. Bus or taxi is easily available from the Ramnagar railway station that takes you to Jim Corbett National Park. You can check out for Corbett Link Express and Kathgodam Express also.

Plants of Corbett National Park:- The plant life of the Corbett reflects the varied physical and environment features of the park. Plants of Corbett include species typical of the Himalayas as well as those occurring in Gangetic plains. Distinct species of trees, Shrubs, Herbs, Grasses, Ferns and Fungi have been recorded from here. The vast richness is responsible for the diversity of animals which use plants as food and habitat.
