Nainital is 34 Km from Kathgodam, the gateway of Kumaon and the terminus of North Eastern Railway. It is 304 km from Delhi, capital of India. Dotted with lakes (Naini Lake, Bhimtal, Naukuchiatal, Khurpatal, Sattal), Nainital has earned the epithet of 'Lake District' of India'. The most prominent of the lakes is Naini lake ringed by hills. Itinerary from Delhi- Nainital-2N/3D

Day-1:Friday-New Delhi-Haldwani - Nainital (305 kms) Overnight Journey:

Depart from Delhi- NCR By / Bus / Train/ Car at Friday night – Reach Haldwani in morning and drive to Nainital.

Day-2: Saturday- Nainital (Arrival ) —Local Sightseeing

Morning arrival at Nainital and after check in to Hotel and Breakfast will visit Snow view point, Nainital zoo ,ropeway, back to hotel, after lunch visit naini lake and enjoy boating at famous Naini Lake, naina devi temple and enjoy your evening at mall road for Shopping ,followed by dinner at Hotel.(overnite stay at Hotel)

Day-3: Sunday-Lake tour- Delhi - (305kms):

After breakfast and check out from Hotel , go for lake tour which includes (Bhimtal, Naukuchiatal, Khurpatal, Sattal) also visit famous and Ancient Hanuman temple. After completing lake tour drive back to haldwani and proceed to your desired destination or drop to delhi.

Climate condition in Nainital:

The weather in Nainital is quite pleasant. Summers are mildly warm and temperatures may reach 22 °C. During winter, temperatures may be sub-zero. The town receives snowfall during December and January. the best time to visit there in between May to July, the summer time in India.

How to Reach Nainital :

Nainital is well connected by road,nearest airport is Pant Nagar Airport located about 2 hours away, and nearest railway station is Kathgodam 35 kms away from Nainital.

Places to Visit in Nainital:

Snow View:Sher-Ka-Danda Ridge. Located at an altitude of 2270 m, Snow View offers spectacular views of the Naina Devi Peak. It can be reached by the Aerial Express Ropeway. Round trip:Rs 160. One-way: Rs 100. There is a place called Mountain Magic, which offers Bumping cars, Go karting facilities.
