Day 01 : LEH Airport Arrival(Rest for the Day - Evening Visit to Leh Market):

Leh is rapidly spreading in all directions from its original position beneath the long abandoned Namgyal Palace. While the town has come a long way from the days when polo was played on its main street, Leh still remains a pleasant, traditional Himalayan town. Overnight in hotel.
Sightseeing Points- Leh Local Market + Shanti Stupa+ Leh Palace

Day 2: Leh Local:

After breakfast, visit local sightseeing , with the Hall of Fame. (It is a glorious museum constructed by Indian army) , Megnetic hills, Sindhu Confuence And Patthar sahib gurudwara.
After lunch viait Thikesy Monastery and Explore local market by own in Evening at leh Night stay at hotel.

Day- 3- LEH - NUBRA (125 KM):

Early Morning drive to Nubra Valley. (05 Hrs Drive from Leh about 125 Km). By crossing Khardongla18300 Ft/5602 m. The highest motor able road in the world ,Nubra Valley (Altitude: 3,150 mtr) ; Formarly known as Lyumra means ‘A Valley of flora’ with numerous high altitude yellow roses, apple and apricot orchards dotting its landscape. Lying approximately 1,300 ft/400m lower than Leh, Nubra sports a much milder climate, which enables its inhabitants to cultivate more extensively, as compared to their counterparts in the main Indus Valley.

Visit Diskit monastery in evening.
(If time permits you can enjoy hunder sand dunes camel ride)

DESKIT VILLAGE: Diskit is the main village of headquarter of Nubra valley, which has a small market consisting of a row of shops and about 500 years old Gompa on the hilltop. Spectacular view of the valley can be seen form the monastery.

DESKIT GOMPA: Diskit Gompa was founded by Lama Sherab Zangpo of Stod in about 1420 AD during the reign of King Dragspa. About 100 monks are residing in the Gompa, which is a branch of Thikse Monastery. The monastic festival called Gustor takes place on 20th and 21st days of the 12th month of Tibetan calendar.

HUNDAR VILLAGE: Hundar is a beautiful village to stay with lot of trees and you will really enjoy your stay at Hundar. It has a small monastery and ruined fort above the village. The walk or Camel Safari (Double Hump bacterian camels) from Hundar to Deskit, through sand dunes for two hours is wonderful.

Day- 4- NUBRA - TURTUK – HUNDER- NUBRA VALLEY (Diskit) – 90 Km one side:

After breakfast drive to reach Turtuk (Last village of an Indian side on Pakistan border)- Enjoy shoyok valley and blackish mountains of karakoram range.
Visit Thang border.
Drive to Nubra valley while coming back visit White Sand Dunes at Hunder. You can enjoy the camel ride here if you miss on day 3.(On Own) or just chill out at the dunes and Back to diskit villag –Overnight stay.

Day- 5- NUBRA - DISKIT –PANGONG LAKE (135 Km):

Breakfast at the Hotel; proceed to Pangong Lake directly via Shyok village i the restricted area close to Tibet. Pangong Lake is located on the high altitude plains of Changtang (around 4400 mtrs) This area is inhabited by nomads who make their living from pashmina goats. The lake is located on the border to Tibet with half belonging to China and half to India. On arrival Overnight stay at the Fixed cottage. ( Heater not allowed at Night due to low oxygen)

Day- 6- PANGONG LAKE – LEH ( 150 KM 4-5 HRS):

Post breakfast Enjoy photography around the lake and drive to Leh via Chang-la pass (5360 Meters).

On the way visit - Hemis Monastary and Ranchos school.

On arrival check in at the hotel and in the evening free to explore the marketplace.

Day- 7- LEH – Airport Drop:

After Breakfast Drop to Leh Airport.

PERSONAL MEDICAL KIT:

Carry these medicines with you, easily accessible at all times. Do not take any medicine unless you have consulted your trek leader.
DIAMOX (1 Strip): It is important to carry Diamox as part of the Live Saving Drugs. on how it reduces chances Acute Mountain Sickness trek.
Dolo 650 (5 tablets): This is a paracetamol. It helps to tackle fever, mild pain
AVOMINE(4 tablets): Carry this especially if you are prone to motion sickness. Pop one-half hour before the start of your road journey.
COMBIFLAM (5 tablets): Take a combiflam if you get sudden twist of the leg or muscle strain. It is pain reliever. also contains paracetamol.
DIGENE (4 tablets): Take it if you feel the food that you’ve taken is undigested. Alert your trek leader immediately. It could be a sign of AMS.
ORS (6 packs): Consume a pack of water at least once day, usually mid-day when you are in the middle your trek. It replenishes essential salts lost while trekking. Tip: also makes cold easier to drink.
KNEE BRACE (optional): Carry this if you are prone to kneeKNEE BRACE (optional): Carry this if you are prone to knee injury or have known issues of knee pain.
