Destination: DELHI-SHIMLA-KUFRI-MANALI-Hadimba Devi Temple-Vashisht-ROHTANG PASS-DHARAMSHALA SIGHTSEEING - DALHOUSIE-KHAJJIAR-AMRITSAR

Day-1: Delhi - Shimla (380 KM)

Upon arrival at Delhi Airport / Railway Station we will proceed towards The queen of Hills”, i.e. Shimla. On arrival in Shimla Check in the hotel. Shimla is the capital of Himachal,blessed with all natural bounties,scenic location, surrounded by green hills with snow capped peaks.In evening will explore this place. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day-2: Shimla - Kufri - Shimla (25km)

Today post breakfast we will proceed towards Kufri which is one of the highest point around shimla and attraction point due to heavy snowfall during (Jan – March) and rest of the month if some wants to spend quality time in calm Himalayas then also can visit this place.We will also visit nearby places like Advance Study & Kufri Fun Campus.Around 3-4 pm return back o Shimla to explore this place. Here you can not ignore The Mall Road one of the busiest commercial areas of this place. Mall Road is the heart of the town, it is in the main street and is filled with countless restaurants, clubs, banks, shops, post offices and tourist offices. This place is the busiest and commercial areas of Shimla. For shopping this is the best place there are lots of showrooms, stores and shops are available from where you can buy handicraft products such as pottery items, jewellery, and woollen clothes. Next place is Tara Devi Temple is situated at the top of a hill in Simla and the lush green environs surrounding it give the temple a very peaceful atmosphere.Then Ridge which has three historical statues of the great Mahatma Gandhi, Indira Gandhi and Y.S. Parmar, the first chief minister of Himachal Pradesh. A good time to visit the place is during the summer festival.After that Scandal Point, it is located at the end of Shimla where Mall Road joins the Ridge Road.The name comes from the scandal caused by the elopement of the Maharaja of Patiala, Bhupinder Singh with the daughter of the British Viceroy.Next is Lakkar Bazaar as the name itself say about the wooden purchase, one can buy some fine wooden handicrafts from here. Dry fruits and natural herbs are also available here.Thereafter Christ church which was built at the request of the British and Anglo-Indians who are residence of Shimla, and wanted a holy place where they could pray to their Lord, Jesus Christ. Lower Bazar, also known as Subzi Mandi, is extremely chaotic yet full of life. The market is located just bellow the Mall Road, and starts from the bus stand in Shimla.Here you will get everything to purchase.Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

Day- 3- Shimla - Manali (8hr) 280km

Today we will drive to reach Manali a beautiful place for everyone. It was earlier known as Manu-Allaya which mean the house of Manu.After the famous Hindu lawgiver Manu it was named Manali. This amazing hill station is surrounded by snow dressed mountains and thick pinewood forests. On arrival transfer to hotel. Rest of the day. Overnight stay in the Hotel.

Day- 4- Manali & Local City Tour (4hr)

Today morning post breakfast we proceed towards half day city tour of Manali which includes- 1. Hidimba Devi Temple.– The temple is dedicated to Hidimba Devi-wife of Bhima(one of the five Pandavas) was built in 1553 A.D. ,mythology is Hidimba was supposed to have lived there with her brother Hidimb she meditated at this place. This is wooden temple, surrounded with dense forest of deodar trees.
2. Vashisht (3.5 kms from Mall) Famous for hot Sulphur Water, which cures many diseases ,Vashisht Muni & lord Rama temple is also there. Tibetan-Monastery, Club House. Later in the evening free to explore the Shopping Malls (Mall Road & IBEX Market) of Manali. Overnight at hotel.

Day- 5- Manali - Rohtang Pass upto Snow Line

Today we will explore Manali with Rohtang Pass,our other sighseens would be Nehru kund, Palchang, Kothi, Gulaba, Rahla Water Falls, Marhi, Rani Nala.Start with Rohtang Pass is on the highway to Keylong/Leh.Located at a height of 3979 metres and at a distance of 51 kms from Manali. The pass is closed in winters and is open inbetween June to October. Someone want to have a thrilling and adventurous experience can visit this place.On the way to Rohtang pass we will cover Nehru kund this is a natural spring and was named after Late Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The source of this spring is Bhrigu Lake.Then Kothi Gorge which is a picturesque place which offers a magnificent view of natural beauty of snow-covered mountains, along with the greenery spread by the cluster of tall deodar trees. Then Gulaba is a small village Named after Raja Gulab Singh of Kashmir, the village of Gulaba is flanked by the picturesque beauty of snow covered mountains, grasslands and the Beas river that washes away its landscapes. Next place is Marhi , here you can enjoy tube ride,can click pictures with animals like Yak and Rabbits,this place is covered with snow,scenic beauty best place to click pictures for your memories. Next is Rahla water falls surrounded by thick deodar forests and birch trees, it is the best place to spend some hours with family members.Then Rani Nala, the best snow point before Rohtang pass. In afternoon around 4-5 pm will return back to Manali.Dinner and overnight stay in Hotel.

Note: The Rohtang sightseeing will be done upto snow Line only. In case the customers wants sightseeing after Snow Line , extra Cab be hired on sharing basis on your own expense and risk.

Day- 6- Manali- Kullu - Dharamshala (270 km )

After breakfast checkout from the hotel and will drive to Dharamshala via Kullu. Dharamshala is one of the destinations in Himachaal where tourist can see the beauty of lush green and golden valleys, flower filled meadows, misty woods, fast flowing rivers, glaciers, gushing water streams, steep waterfalls, enchanting lakes, rippling streams.Kullu is the stunning hill station surrounded by huge snow clad mountains and thick pinewood forests with the beautiful Beas River. Kullu is also known as the ‘The Valley of Gods’.On arrival at Dharamshala you will be transfer to hotel take some rest and in evening explore the place.Overnight stay in hotel.

Day- 7- Dharamshala Sightseeing - Dalhousie

Next morning after breakfast, check out from hotel and drive for local sightseeing covering official residence of Dalai lama, Mcleodganj etc.Mcleodganj is a charming Tibetan settlement with bustling bazaars, and Norbulinga Institude, that sell Tibetan handicrafts and delicious Tibetan food. The major center for the studies of Tibetan culture. It is the resident of Dalai Lama and is also famous for its arts and handicrafts. After lunch will drive to Dalhousie it would be around 4 hours journey and is situated at an altitude of about 2039 mts in the outer slopes of the Dhaula Dhar range with its natural beauty and natural surroundings.On arrival you will be transfer to hotel,take rest for the day. Day- 8- Dalhousie- Khajjiar- Dalhousie

Today after breakfast we will proceed to Khajjiar also known as Mini Switzerland of India , is surrounded by dense pine and deodar forests , its beauty has further been enhanced by a small lake in the center with a floating island and 9-hole golf course here are the other interesting places to cover.Return backto Dalhousie .Overnight stay in hotel.

Day- 9- Dalhousie - Amritsar (190 km)

Today in the morning after breakfast we will drive to Amritsar. Amritsar is home of the glorious Golden Temple, Amritsar is the spiritual and cultural centre of the Sikh Religion. On arrival checkin Hotel,take some rest and then you can visit Sri Harmandir Sahib, also known as Sri Darbar Sahib or Golden Temple. Overnight stay in Hotel.

Day- 10- Amritsar Local Sightseeing

After breakfast visit to Golden Temple, which is one of the most important pilgrimage destinations in India for Sikhs. Considered as the ultimate place of the Sikh faith, the Golden temple of Amritsar attracts large number of devotees every year. Sikh devotees, for whom the Golden Temple is a symbol of freedom and spiritual independence, visit the Temple from all over the world to offer prayers. The Golden temple is also known as Harmandir Sahib, which means “the Temple of God”. Next move is to Jalianwallah Bagh this is a historical monument that tells the sad story of mass killing during the independence movement in India, Here lies the memorial of the martyrs of the 1919 massacre by British General Dyer. Day- 11- Amritsar – Delhi (480 km)

Today after Breakfast check out from hotel, Drive back to Delhi . Till evening we will reach in Delhi. Drop at airport or railway station to proceed further to your destinations. Our trip ends here.

By Air- The best airport is Indira Gandhi International Airport. However, Kullu also houses an airport that is only 23km away. There are regular flights from Delhi to Kullu.

By Rail- Kalka (90km away) is the nearest railway station to reach to Himachal Pradesh to explore major tourist spots in Himachal Pradesh. There are regular trains from Ambala to Kalka through a Narrow-gauge line.

By Road- It is well connected via road to all the major cities of the country. It is 343km from Delhi via Chandigarh, 151km from Ambala, and 240km from Dehradun.
