Tirthan Valley
Tirthan Valley is situated at an altitude of about 1600 mtrs. above sea level.This place is named after Tirthan river, for trekkers this is the best place also for the bird lovers. Tirthan valley is also known as “Himachal’s Best Kept Secret”. Tirthan river originates from the icy cold glacial springs of Hanskund.This place is not only a escape from the crowded places but is also the place where you would like to go again and again . Located on the bank of Tirthan river , this valley gives a most scenic view to all his visitors sky-high mountains, apple orchards, dense thick forests and expansive alpine meadows,water bodies like Tirthan river and other small lakes like Serolshar and Parashar spread throughout the valley.
There is a special festival for four days in February called Phagli. This is a spiritual festival with masked dances and lots of merry-making.Along the Tirthan river A yearly fishing competition is held,sponsored by the Department of Fisheries. Each village also has a local god known as devta.

By Air Bhuntar is the nearest Airport from Tirthan Valley which is about 48 km away. Alternatively other Airport is Chandigarh which is around 134 km away from Tirthan Valley. Cabs/ Taxis are available from Airport.
By Rail Ambala and Kiratpur is the nearest Railway Station from Tirthan Valley and is well connected to other cities. Cabs/ Taxis are available from Railway Station.
By Road The HPTDC has regular bus services from neighbouring states like Delhi, Punjab and Haryana. One can hire cabs as well to reach the destinations from their cities like Delhi, Haryana.
Best Season to visit
Summer (April - June) Winters are chilly in this region, with heavy snowfall, best place for those who love snow.
Spring (March - April) Spring is the perfect time to visit this place as you will find the scenic beauty all around. The weather is pleasant during the day but might turn a bit chilly at night.
Winter (November - February) It is a perfect time for people looking for some adventure activities, and camping and is the best time to visit the valley.

River Crossing
People who are lookingfor adventurous activity can enjoy this River Crossing. A person is tied to a safety harness and slides from one point to the other, with the turbulent River Tirthan gushing underneath. The river crossing should be done under the supervision of experienced instructors.
Great Himalayan National Park
The Great Himalayan National Park, is one of India's national parks, It is spread over an area of 1,171 km sq at an altitude of between 1500 to 6000 m.There are numerous flora and more than 375 fauna species.

Jalori Pass
Jalori Passis situated at an altitude of about 3120 m above the sea level and around 80km from Kullu. Just 3km before the pass, the road is not in a good condition it becomes tough to drive even in first gear making it a thoroughly challenging. This place is pleasant, calm and one can also enjoy the variety of exotic flora and fauna..
Trout Fishing
This is an ideal place to do fishing in a crystal clear water in Tirthan River. This river is famous among tourists.
Serloskar Lake
This lake is situated about 5 km from Jalori Pass. The lake has clear water which remains so despite of several leaves falling in to it. The place is famous for its temple which is devoted to Goddess Budhi Nagin. It is believed that the Goddess has hundred sons and acts as a guardian of the place.
